Biodiversity Assessment

Our Biodiversity Tool can measure the quantity and quality of habitats anywhere in the world.

The Habitat Extent Tool uses machine learning and satellite data to create accurate habitat maps, classified by the EUNIS system. The Habitat Condition Tool evaluates habitat quality with a custom algorithm based on ecological principles like connectivity, core habitat, and edge effects. Our Biodiversity Tool enables baselining and monitoring biodiversity in supply chains for voluntary and statutory reporting.

Strategy Development

We work with Agri-Food corporates to develop, monitor and implement Net Zero and Nature Positive strategies.

Many companies are currently setting targets – for example to reduce Scope 3 emissions by 20% by 2030. But how do these companies actually reach these targets? In the Agricultural sector most of emissions can happen on farm – and so farmers need to be engaged in the sustainable transition. We assess the potential of a supply chain to decarbonise, estimate the cost of various mitigation pathways, develop incentive programmes to encourage the sustainable transition, and then monitor the progress towards strategic goals.
