While 20th-century agricultural practices achieved abundant food production, they came at a significant environmental cost. Increased inputs boosted yields but also made agriculture the leading cause of biodiversity loss and the second largest contributor to climate change. Our goal is to empower food companies to monitor, reduce, and report their environmental impacts, fostering sustainable practices that preserve natural ecosystems and reduce overall environmental footprint. This will lead to a world of abundant and sustainable food.

Just as technology drove the massive gains in yield in the 20th century, technology will drive massive gains in sustainability in the 21st. Increasing yields will mean land will become available for nature, increasing efficiency will drive down carbon emissions. Our vision is rooted in the belief that empowering farmers to transition their farms towards a more climate-friendly system is attainable through the digitalization of environmental impact monitoring. By connecting farmers’ efforts with stakeholders throughout their value chain, our goal is to enable them to monetize farm sustainability improvements, creating a net zero and nature positive agricultural system.
